You're about to learn something most people never figure out: knowing science and being able to talk about science are two completely different skills.

Over the next 20 minutes, you'll figure out what science topic you're going to turn into an audio story — and more importantly, WHY someone who isn't you should care about it.

Here's what happens in this chapter:

You'll watch a short video that shows you the difference between sharing facts and telling stories. Then you'll use a simple 5-question framework to find your topic and identify the hook that makes people want to listen.

By the end of Chapter 1, you'll have:

  • A science topic you're genuinely excited to talk about

  • The "hook" that makes your story interesting (not just informative)

  • A clear sense of why your topic matters to real people

What you'll need:

  • Something to write with (phone notes, paper, whatever works)

  • About 20-25 minutes

  • Curiosity about something in science
